How do you get help... - DIYMA Car Audio Forum

I'm hoping someone understands where um coming from.

I can't afford to work in shops in my town. The pay is low and the owners suck up alot of money through shitty installation and time is money guidelines. ( I understand the time is money to a degree) But basically I dislike a majority of them.

Anyways I've been doing installations for a while from my garage without issue. But just recently I ran into an issue with an alarm installation, I'm pretty sure its minor, but I haven't been able to rap my head around it. So it being a Python I had to give Directed a call. That is one of the rudest, meaningless conversations I've had in a while. I was scolded for calling and not being a Dealer. I can understand to a point, but @^ck that. I tried offering to send in copies of my certifications, but apparently those can be came across very easily. (Which I wish I would have known before I spent my own time and money to properly learn.) Some what offensive also, since I know for a fact that of two shops, with a total of 11 people, only one is certified, and he's SHIT!!

Enough venting, I guess.

Is there an actual place that installers can go and get actual help on some minor hic ups. No offense to DIYMA, I LOVE this place, but alarm installation isnt a high participate area.
